Care Concerns
Patients and families may have complaints about care. Sometimes, these are difficult to address at the hospice level. These resources address Georgia health and safety guidelines or ask about patient rights.
Complaints About Hospice Care in Georgia?
If health and safety complaints are not being addressed, the Georgia Healthcare Facility Regulatory Division (HFRD) can help. They provide oversight, licensing, certification of hospice health care in Georgia. Also, they help providers with health care planning and services. The Georgia licensed providers include Family First Hospice Care.
HFRD provides Georgia health and safety guidelines for people with serious, terminal illness. If you have a concern with the health or safety of a patient, reach out to HFRD. They will listen to your concerns regarding the care provided. Please call them or or File a Complaint.

Complaints About Patient Rights?
Family First Hospice Care commits to diverse, fair, inclusive practices.
If you think you or someone else has been treated unfairly, we encourage you to speak up. For example, hospice patients can not be refused care on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, conscience, or religion. Also, if you believe that Family First did not uphold patient privacy rights (HIPAA), you may file a complaint. To do this, contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Civil Rights:
